What is Anki?
Anki is the gold-standard flashcard application for medical students, graduate students, and ambitious undergrads to learn and retain large amounts of information. It works by using spaced repetition (the process of showing you information at various intervals to optimize learning).
It is most often used when students are studying for exams like the MCAT, USMLE Step 1, and USMLE Step 2. However, it can be used to study for any exam.

What is StudyRemote?
The StudyRemote (formerly Anki Remote) is a one-hand remote to help students Anki faster and for longer without burning out.
The secret to succeeding with Anki is not how many cards you can do, but how consistently can you be. But the problem is that doing Anki for longer than 20 minutes at a time can be extremely uncomfortable.

We rarely ship outside of the United States; however, it has been done.
In the past, a person from Australia arranged for his own shipping forwarder and someone else from Bahrain covered the cost of DHL shipping.

How do I set up my Anki Remote?
Anki Remote 2 Pro doesn't need any setup. Just turn on your remote, connect on Bluetooth, and you're good to go!
How can I customize my Anki Remote?
Anki Remote 2 Pro can be customized through the Anki Remote add-on on any laptop. Here is the link to the add-on.
Instructions:
- Get the add-on by going to Tools > Add-ons > Get Add-ons. Then add the code: 693153301 to the box.
- Restart Anki to activate the add-on.
- Click Anki Remote in the header menu.
- Check the side of your Anki Remote to see if you are in Key or Game mode.
- Choose your mode at the top of the page.
- Click on any drop-down menu and pick your desired function.
- Hit the blue "Save" button and get started (no need to restart Anki!)
Currently, the Anki Remote requires the add-on to be customized. This means that any device such as a phone or iPad that does not allow for add-ons will not allow you to customize your Anki Remote. However, you can still use the core Anki Remote features by just connecting to your device with Bluetooth.
How long does the Anki Remote last?
Typically, one and a half hours of charging will give you 8–20 hours of active use (make sure to turn it off when not in use).
The lifespan of the Anki Remote is long. Students have used the Anki Remote daily for over a year without any issues.
Does the Anki Remote only work on Mac?
No, Anki Remote 2 Pro works with all devices (Mac, Windows, iPad, iPhone, tablet, etc).
What kind of charger does the Anki Remote use?
